Our Holding Crosses are hand crafted from the beautiful yellow wood tree, the national tree of South Africa, found in the forest areas of the Garden Route.

It is at The Carpenter’s Cross Shop at Scarab Village in Sedgefield where these crosses are manufactured by Olive Cross Ministries, a ministry led by Denis Oliver.

Denis says this unique work and ministry is essential to witness to our Lord and Saviour and to serve Him in spreading His Word through the distribution of the Holding Cross.

“In the times that we live in South Africa, the need to be reminded of our connectedness to the Lord by grace and through faith at all times is rapidly increasing.”

Our Holding Crosses are beautifully engraved and available with both English and Afrikaans scripture verses.

The actual cross size is 90mm x 50mm and they are suitable for adults and children.
