FLIGHT UNIQUE TEE SHIRTS are made by Adela Staegemann from her home against the Knysna forest.
Adela started painting almost 15 years ago, just before her third child was born. The first shirt she made was a gift to a friend’s newborn baby.
She started selling her tee shirts with intricate designs of mostly indigenous flowers and plants, loeries and other birds, chameleons and many others.
The first market Adela sold at was in Wilderness – and she did well, much to her surprise. This inspired her to continue her painting, breaking out with more colour and an array of fun designs for children.

Her tee shirts have been sold world wide.
Adela’s specaility is doing commissions for special occasions or a gift for a loved one or friend. Examples of special commissions range from shirts with illustrations for the Tour de France, specific trees or plants, pets, library week themes, paragliding, bees and beehives, or waves with surfing fish, mandalas and many more!
Adela uses a high quality paint and she heat-fixes each shirt with a hot press ensuring a colour-fast product that can be washed in a washing machine. The Tee shirts are 100% cotton and made in South Africa.
