Zelda Delport has transformed her passion for plants and gardens into a business that she runs from her nursery at Scarab Village.

Soon after Zelda and her husband, Christo, returned from an extensive working holiday that lasted 5 years through Europe, they settled in Sedgefield.

It is here at Scarab Village that Zelda sells interesting indigenous and exotic plants at her nursery. However, the main focus of her business these days is landscaping of indigenous gardens. Many of the homes built by her husband are beautified by these gardens that she designs.

Zelda studied landscape architecture in Pretoria and continued her studies in England where she obtained a master’s degree in computer imaging and architecture.

These skills are now combined with her passion for plants and landscaping and helps her in the meticulous designs of her gardens.
